Join Verde Holistic Wellness Studio for our most profound and intimate journey yet. In March 2027, we return to the lush, sacred lands of the Maya Riviera for a 7-day, 6-night immersion into the Divine Feminine.
A Note on Our Sacred Container: Because our curriculum and ancestral practices focus intimately on physical uterine healing, Yoni steaming, and Yam (abdominal) massage, this particular retreat is lovingly curated exclusively for women and individuals who possess a physical womb space.
Guided by Verde’s founder, Crystal Dorado, and featuring world-renowned elder and teacher Dr. Rosita Arvigo, this retreat is a deeply nourishing exploration of ancestral roots, womb wellness, and the duality of Ixchel—the Maya Goddess of the moon, medicine, water, and weaving.
Transitioning from the deep forest floors of our past retreats to the nurturing waters of the Caribbean, we have secured a private, pristine jungle sanctuary designed exclusively for healing. Together, we will experience traditional Copal blessings, deep self-care abdominal massage (Yam) training, Yoni steaming, Cenote spiritual bathing, and a powerful full-day pilgrimage across the waters to the ancient ruins of Ixchel’s temple in Cozumel.
This is not just a retreat; it is an initiation into profound self-care and nervous system regulation. Space is intentionally limited to preserve the sacred container of this work.

Dr Rosita Arvigo | Doctor of Naprapathy & Master Herbalist
Dr. Rosita is a legend in the world of traditional healing. A Doctor of Naprapathy and master herbalist, she has dedicated her life to the preservation of ancestral healing knowledge. Her journey is defined by her historic 13-year apprenticeship with Don Elijio Panti, the renowned Maya Shaman of Belize, who passed his vast knowledge of medicinal plants and spiritual healing onto her. She also studied closely with Miss Hortense Robinson, a beloved Belizean herbal midwife.
Dr. Rosita is the founder of The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® and the Abdominal Therapy Collective. She established the Ix Chel Tropical Research Foundation in Belize to promote the use of traditional plants and prevent the destruction of the rainforest. She is the author of several acclaimed books, including Sastun: My Apprenticeship with a Maya Healer and Rainforest Home Remedies.
Crystal Dorado | Sacred Guide & Healer
Crystal is a visionary healer and the soul behind Verde Holistic Wellness Studio in Chicago. As an indigenous woman of color, Crystal’s path is deeply rooted in the ancestral wisdom of her lineage; she is the granddaughter of traditional Mexican curanderos and hierberas (herbalists). Her grandfather served his community as a sobador and huesero (bone setter), while her grandmother cultivated the earth's medicine as a yerbera. These early initiations into the world of spirit and plant medicine sparked a lifelong dedication to the healing arts.
With over two decades of experience, Crystal has woven these inherited gifts with extensive formal training. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Akashic Records Practitioner, Craniosacral Therapist, and a specialist in Womb Massage. Having honed her craft under the guidance of esteemed healers in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize, Crystal bridges the gap between ancient Mesoamerican traditions and modern holistic wellness.
Our Sanctuary: Lunita Jungle Retreat
Your home for this week will be the enchanting Lunita Jungle Retreat, a private oasis nestled along the tranquil Ruta de los Cenotes. This purpose-built sanctuary never hosts more than one group at a time, providing a completely exclusive, undisturbed, and sacred container fully dedicated to our healing journey.
Accommodation: Beautiful eco-luxury casitas nestled within the jungle canopy offer a genuine nature immersion with modern comfort. Each casita features an en-suite bathroom, fresh linens, powerful cooling fans, windows equipped with mosquito nets, and a private furnished garden terrace surrounded by lush vegetation.
Nourishment: Delicious, "lean & clean" meals are prepared by on-site private chefs and served buffet-style in our spacious jungle restaurant. Expect a highly intentional menu highlighting fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients—featuring poultry and fish alongside an abundance of regional produce, complemented by a 24/7 drinking water and tea station.
Amenities: Enjoy full access to Lunita’s stunning facilities, including a private outdoor pool, a covered relaxation area, and an outdoor jungle gym. At the heart of our work is the transparent octagonal meditation Shala—an intimate, open-air ceremonial space nestled beneath ancient trees, featuring pure drinking water sourced directly from the underground cenote.

Day 1: Arrival & Gathering | Settle into the jungle canopy, share our first welcome dinner, and open our heart space in an intimate intention-setting circle.
Day 2: The Wisdom of Ixchel | Begin the deep work with a sacred Copal blessing, introductory lectures on the medicine of Ixchel, and an afternoon somatic release circle with Crystal.
Day 3: The Sacred Uterus | Dedicate the day to Yam (the uterus). Learn the foundational anatomy and spiritual lineage with Dr. Rosita, followed by hands-on self-care abdominal massage practice with Crystal.
Day 4: Waters of Purification | Journey deep into the Earth for private Cenote Spiritual Baths, followed by a nourishing on-site lunch, communal Yoni steams, and an integration sound bath.
Day 5: Ancestral Roots Pilgrimage | Travel across the waters to Cozumel Island for a powerful pilgrimage to the ancient ruins and altars of Ixchel, balancing the day with local exploration and ocean reflection.
Day 6: The Sweetness of Closing | A quiet morning of rest and journaling, flowing into a traditional Cacao preparation, our colorful signature "Hug Ceremony," and a celebratory final dinner ritual.
Day 7: Departure & Integration | Close the container with a final gratitude breakfast before sharing our farewells and heading to the airport.

Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy
To honor the deep commitment required to hold this private sanctuary exclusively for our group, we utilize a structured payment timeline:
Deposit: A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to lock in your registration.
Payment Plans: Flexible, customized monthly payment plans are available to help make this transformative experience accessible.
Final Balance: The final remaining balance is due in full 30 days prior to the retreat start date.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the strict, exclusive booking terms of our private jungle sanctuary, no refunds will be issued for any payments made less than 125 days prior to the retreat start date. We strongly recommend that all participants obtain personal travel insurance for ultimate peace of mind.
Important Community Note & Policy
A Note on Our Gathering: To honor the sacred nature of this intimate journey and ensure a sustainable container for our facilitators, this retreat requires a minimum of 10 participants to register by December 15th, 2026. In the unexpected event that we do not reach this collective minimum, the retreat will not take place, and 100% of your $500 deposit will be fully and promptly refunded to you. We kindly advise waiting to book your airfare until we officially confirm our collective container has been filled no later than December 16th, 2026.
