Fly to the Amazon rainforest region of Putumayo.
Arrive at the retreat center and settle into your accommodations.

Days 3-8: Immersion in the Amazon

Taita Sebastián Jansasoy
Taita Sebastián Jansasoy is a revered spiritual guide and traditional indigenous healer, rooted in the wisdom of the Inga people of Mocoa, Putumayo. His journey began at the tender age of seven, under the tutelage of esteemed masters from the Inga, Siona, and Kofán communities. He spent eight years learning from Taita Jacinto Quinchoa (†) and Taita Francisco Piaguaje (†), followed by seventeen years of profound training with Taita Querubín Queta Alvarado (†), the highest authority of the Cofán people.
Today, Taita Sebastián is a certified traditional indigenous healer recognized by the Inga and Cofán peoples. His healing practices extend far beyond his homeland, reaching Colombia, Latin America, Central America, and the United States.
Beyond his role as a healer, Taita Sebastián is a dedicated advocate for indigenous rights and environmental protection. He serves as an advisor to indigenous communities, working tirelessly to safeguard their traditions and defend the sacred balance of Mother Earth.
At his core, Taita Sebastián is an indigenous soul, driven by a profound desire to serve humanity and awaken consciousness.

Crystal, a visionary guide on the path of holistic well-being, has dedicated two decades to empowering individuals on their journeys of healing and self-discovery. Rooted in the ancestral wisdom of Mesoamerica, Crystal weaves ancient healing traditions into her practice, honed under the guidance of esteemed healers in Tulum and Belize.
As the founder of Verde Holistic Wellness Studio, Crystal cultivates a sacred space for profound healing and self-discovery. With a deep reverence for her community, she curates unique rituals that nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Drawing from a diverse wellness toolkit, Crystal creates a supportive environment where individuals can address their unique intentions and embark on their own transformative journeys.

Marlon and Tita. We are more than just tour guides; we are fellow travelers on the path of life, deeply connected to the spirit of the Mayan lands. For 18 and 11 years, respectively, we have had the privilege of exploring this sacred territory, learning from the wisdom of Mother Earth at every turn.
We find ourselves constantly learning – observing the reflections of ourselves in the shimmering waters, feeling embraced by the jungle's verdant embrace, and immersing ourselves in the symphony of its sounds. We feel the life-giving energy of the sun, the whispers of the wind, and the profound wisdom that echoes in the calls of the animals.
We believe in the sacred duty to preserve the ancient wisdom and protect the natural sanctuaries of indigenous peoples. Learning from the wisdom keepers of these ancient cultures within their sacred spaces is an immense honor.
