Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your interest in our retreat programming.
Please be sure to review the following information carefully.
Registration & Payments
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The full balance is due no later than 30 days before the retreat start date. Late payments may result in cancellation of your reservation. Payment plans are available upon request. Please contact us for details. Upon submitting your deposit, you will receive a confirmation email with final payment details. Full payment will be required upon registration for late bookings.
Important Notes
Flights are not included.
Ground transportation to and from Cancun International Airport is included on designated arrival and departure dates, as well as throughout the retreat for scheduled excursions.
A valid passport is required for participation in international retreats.
We highly recommend obtaining personal travel insurance to help cover cancellation fees. Verde is not responsible for the cost of flights or other travel arrangements in the event of cancellation.
Accessibility Disclaimer
Please note that our retreats may take place in remote settings, which may present accessibility challenges. We strive to create an inclusive environment, but please contact us in advance to discuss any specific needs.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
Participation in the Verde Retreat is at your own risk. By registering for the retreat, you agree to the terms of our Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Form, which outlines your responsibilities and Verde's limitations of liability. A copy of this form will be provided to you.
Responsibility/Limitation of Liability
Verde will make every effort to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. However, our liability is limited as outlined in our Responsibility/Limitation of Liability Form, which details our responsibilities and limitations. A copy of this form will be provided to you.
Photo/Video Release
Verde may photograph and/or videotape participants during the Retreat. You have the option to grant Verde permission to use these materials for promotional and educational purposes. Please sign the Photo/Video Release Form to indicate your preference. Verde will make a reasonable effort to avoid photographing or videotaping participants who decline permission. A copy of this form will be provided to you.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected situations may arise. Here's what to know about cancelling your reservation:
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Cancellation Fees:
Cancellations received 120 days or more before your arrival will incur a charge of your non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations received within 119 days of your arrival will result in a charge of the full retreat cost which includes the non-refundable deposit.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on or after the first day of the retreat.
By registering for the retreat, you agree to these cancellation terms.

Retreat Package inclusions
All scheduled activities, lectures, workshops, and experiences
Accommodation for the duration of your retreat
All meals and snacks daily, unless otherwise indicated in the retreat itinerary.
Ground transportation to and from Cancun International Airport on arrival and departure dates, as well as for all scheduled excursions during the retreat.

Reschedule of Retreat
In the case of unforeseen circumstances requiring a date change, you will be notified immediately. Your deposit will be transferred to the new dates without a transfer fee.
Weather or Natural Disasters
Verde Holistic Wellness Studio and the retreat location reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the retreat due to weather or natural disasters. We will do our best to accommodate participants in case of such events.
Consumer Disclosure Notice
Verde Holistic Wellness Studio, retreat facilitators, and the retreat location are not responsible for:
Late departures, schedule changes, or strikes.
Loss or damage to personal belongings.
Personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from various factors including force majeure, negligence, or actions by service providers.
Participants are responsible for any damages or losses incurred during the retreat.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions, your participation in the retreat, and any dispute arising therefrom will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Verde with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.
Updates to Terms and Conditions
Verde reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post any changes on our website and notify you via email if we make any material changes. Your continued use of our website and participation in our programs constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Verde Retreat. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
Conduct
We expect all participants to behave in a respectful and responsible manner towards each other, staff, and the retreat location. Verde reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants from the retreat for disruptive or harmful behavior.
Alcohol & Responsible Consumption
Verde promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle during the retreat program. While we encourage participants to focus on overall wellness, we understand that some may enjoy a glass of wine with dinner or a refreshing drink after activities.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
Alcohol consumption is limited to those over the legal drinking age.
Please drink responsibly and in moderation.
We recommend avoiding alcohol before or during all activities and workshops.
Intoxication or disruptive behavior under the influence of alcohol will not be tolerated.
Drugs
The possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited throughout the retreat program.
We recommend a focus on healthy habits and mindful practices to maximize your retreat experience. Verde reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants from the retreat for violation of these guidelines.
Lost & Found
Verde cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. Lost and found items will be held for a limited time and then donated to charity.
Pre-Travel Health & Safety and During-Retreat Responsibilities
Verde Retreat is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants. However, your well-being ultimately rests on your own shoulders. Here's how we can work together:
Prior to Travel:
Review CDC Recommendations: Visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website (https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/) to stay informed about travel advisories and recommendations for your destination.
Consult Your Physician: Schedule an appointment with your doctor at least 4-6 weeks before departure. Discuss your travel plans and ensure you are up-to-date on vaccinations. Your doctor can offer personalized health advice specific to your needs and the retreat location.
During the Retreat:
Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your own health and well-being during the retreat.
Physician Consultation Recommended: Before participating in any physical activities, we recommend talking to a physician or Verde staff member if you have any concerns about your fitness level or pre-existing medical conditions.
Disclosure of Medical Conditions: We encourage you to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions to Verde staff upon registration. This information helps us cater to your needs and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
By taking these steps proactively, you can help ensure a healthy and transformative retreat experience.
Technology Usage
We encourage participants to disconnect from technology and fully immerse themselves in the retreat experience. However, limited cell service may be available.
Sustainability Practices
Verde is committed to sustainable practices. We encourage participants to pack eco-friendly items and minimize waste generation during the retreat.
